We can measure below physical parameters of an object or target as per our requirement and can process further for the quality check as well as desired functioning of the application.
Diameter
we can measure the diameter and radius of the object from distance sensor.
Level
we can measure level of the liquids like oil, water etc in tank.
Height
we can calculate height of the objects by using one or more distance sensor in single application.
Width
we can calculate width of the objects by using one or more distance sensor in single application.
Length
we can calculate length of the objects by using one or more distance sensor in single application.
Position
Distance sensors can be used to check and adjust the positions of the object with respect to each other.
Profiling
2d, 3d laser sensors can be used for profiling of the objects.
